Third Graders Compare Yesterday to Today

Third grade students are using Kidspiration (TM) to compare life for the Wampanoag and Pilgrim people to life today. Students took a field trip to the Plimoth Plantation and Wampanoag Village to get a first-hand look at what life was like in 1621 in the settlement.
Upon their return to modern day, students use a graphic organizer to compare daily life, transporation and communication. The students all agree that Pilgrim and Wampanoag children had to spend more of their time working and doing chores than today's children.
